Now that Obama is the new president the racial and ethnic relations will change. Now that we have elected the first black president, the whole way we look at race will be different. By him winning we can now understand that the American people do not look at race, which is a start to change the racial relations. But the struggle right now is education for minorities. Today many minority students are not really pushed to continue their education from high school, like said in the film that when a black boy wanted to become a psychologist his guidance counselor said that he couldn’t. Another issue is black men not being able to find a job because of their race or because they do not have a college education. In the film it should how a black man struggled to find a job and when he goes for a job he is rejected one because of his race and another because he doesn’t have the education or skills. By having Obama as President we can end this all for minorities. Obama mentioned wanting to help the minorities and wants the youth to get an education. That is why he wants to give money to youth for them to go to college, so that minorities do not struggle to find a job and lose the hope of becoming a successful person. So now that Obama is president we will see change in racial and ethnic relations, its already starting since we voted for the first black president.

Obama's win for Presidency will change racial and ethnics relations in many different ways. This should bring people of different races together, especially since Obama represents more than just the "black" race. His win may also decrease the amount of blacks that eithier get shot, drop out of school or end up in jail. Beofore many blacks would doubt that they could make it some where in life, simply because of their race but now that Obama won, it just proved that "Anything is Possible"

Having Obama elected as president, this will change America especially for the black community. Looking back at the movie, most African-Americans are not inspired to do much with their lives. For example, the boy talking with his guidance counselor and his guidance counselor tried to keep him from making himself a better person. After Obama was elected, a comment was stated that when an African-American makes an accomplishment they become a role model for the younger black generations. However, when a young African-American child would say that they wanted to become president it was harder for parents to support that dream because it was a position that was always held by a white man. Now that Obama is elected, this shows the black community that anything is possible.as a result of his win, this will open the doors for many other minorities outside of the black community. This shows the new change that the United States is going into.

Even though, Barak Obama was elected president, I do not believe that there will be any change in racial and ethnic relations. That is because, it is hard to change the opinions of people, and people that had bad relations with other races, are going to continue to have bad relations with other racial groups. History was made, by Obama winning the presidential race; however, much more has to be done to resolve racial issues.

We are all very proud of our country for voting for barack Obama as the next president of the United States. It is a step into the resolution of the on going racial and ethnic downfalls of our country. This proves that American is capable of having an African American president. It will test the relations between African Americans and the majority of the UNited States. I feel that the issue at hand has now shyed away from race and enterted into the crisis at hand which is the economy and our troops in Iraq, Barack Obama can be seen and will be seen as a positive influence among the black community, from the film we saw clips of fathers leaving their families or abandoning their children, Barack Obama being elected brings in a positive note. He is a dedicated father and husband and i feel that the minorities will take example to what a great person Obama is. So hopefully Obama in office dissentigrates the stereotype of all minorities especially African Americans aren't capable of setting an example and running this country.
